This is the best job that I ever had. Harvard is an amazing institution, with not only amazing faculty and students but also first rate support services and facilities. As the director of a public policy think tanks, I have the perfect platform to do my work. The culture is also very strong. Unlike other universities, where people seemed to have a chip on their shoulder, Harvard was actually a kind of easy-going place. People worked hard and went about their business but I have a little of the edginess of other places because people were confident that they were doing good work and would be supported in doing so. I left this position for personal reasons and I am happy with the decision that I made. But I have always missed Harvard and the incredible work environment that I had there.
