Horizon Media does a very good job of taking care of it's employees and is strong at fostering growth. I think for someone who is new to the Media/Advertising world Horizon would be a great first start as they really take the time to develop talent.

Overall in my 3+ years at Horizon Media, I've had positive experiences. The company has a very strong leadership in place who has a clear vision as to where they want to take the company and do a great job of keeping Horizon competitive in a very competitive landscape.

Always be willing to speak up and make sure your voice is heard. This company is great at listening at everyone and will take the time to do so, however if you don't make your voice heard then you can quickly slip through the cracks there. Also go in wanting to know and learn digital media if you don't have much of a background in that channel. Horizon is strongly pushing digital media so having that skill set is key in growing company like Horizon.

Supervisors give the opportunities to learn and grow and try new things. Supervisors understand if you're trying hard, you will make mistakes, and that's ok. Encourage building relationships outside of one's own small team. Very inclusive of all types of people, views, etc. Have a very strong entrepreneurial program in place.
