Jabil has always presented itself as a company with well defined principles and goals and had achieved many goals in the period when I had acted as an employee of them.

During the time I worked at Jabil I had space to manage my teams, to represent the company with clients and suppliers, in defense of Jabil, I was able to use all my experience applying towards the improvement of goals towards the objectives previously defined by the Matrix.

The most important thing about working at Jabil, was Jabil's team, working with excellent professional staff, with ethics, always looking for excellent quality at work, with a lot of strength to win, and a team that gave pleasure to work together.

Interesting place to work however Jabil no longer has facilities in Massachusetts. To work in portion of Jabil that supports defense applications one would have to be located in Florida or Arizona. Note any further comments or evaluations are based on the company as it was approximately 10 years ago.

The company culture is unique and tends to be dogmatic. As a manufacturing company, Jabil is bound by process, governance and compliance. Accordingly, the insistence upon methodology and consistency in business operations in emphasized. This said, the diversity of employee background and nationality affords a wealth of ideas when developing and/or modifying governance models. For those seeking global exposure in her/his career, Jabil is one of the more prudent options. Care should be exercised in pursuing career opportunities at the St. Petersburg HQ campus as that location is often stricken with myopia regarding business process as well as conceptualization of global impact in decision making.

JABIL has a unique culture. They impower there employees to run the BU as if it was your own money you were investing and gowing within these business. However I believe most emplyees are setup to fail right out of the gate becasue Jabil does not do a good job with the learning and development of emplyeees. It is like her is your phone, desk, computer and here is your BU without really properly educating an employee on the how to and where to get things done with Jabil.
