Current Employee - Associate/Consultant

Keystone truly cares about their employees, both in their development and that they enjoy the work they are doing. Keystone feels like a startup, but with the access and impact of a large, consulting firm.

- Partner

Keystone is a great place for people that want to push beyond 80/20 to deliver world-class insights and work beside world-class academic and industry experts on fun, exciting projects related to technology.

Employee - Analyst

Allows for new graduates to take on work of similar prominence and importance as that of major consulting firms while still being able to maintain close and personally relevant relationships to your superior and to upper management, which drastically increases your responsibilities and learning opportunities and greatly facilitates personal development

Innovative and Exemplary are the two words I would choose. I choose innovative as one since the sectors we work in and the solutions we provide to clients are often novel and unexpected, and the process of figuring out a unique solution to a difficult problem is central to the work they do. I would choose exemplary as the second because it is evident to everyone at the firm that they are working non-stop to guarantee the firm's growth and success, and it is comforting at a lower level to know that the senior leadership is taking such initiative, something that may not be so apparent at larger and less transparent companies.

Entry-level compensation is competitive with many other major consulting companies. Although it is slightly lower than the payout provided by the largest and most prestigious names, this is to be expected given the firm's smaller size and constant growth.

Best perks are health and dental coverage, as well as the numerous opportunities to socialize and interact with senior employees in a manner that is unheard of at larger-name companies.

The culture is one that is characterized by the diversity of backgrounds that its employees hold as well as the lack of expected prestige that often stifles a relaxing and productive work environment. Although the academic pedigree of all its employees is impressive, the prestige of an ivy league education is something that carries no weight in the firm's culture - people are celebrated and assessed based only on the quality of the work that they produce, not on the pomp of the names they bring to the table.

Very good amongst those who have worked with the firm in the past, and is reasonably well-known in the technology sector in particular. However, there is still room for growth in terms of brand recognition which is normal since the company is still very young.

Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant

Keystone is an amazing place to start or grow a career. There are amazingly talented folks with a range of backgrounds and expertise, top tech industry clients, a range of interesting projects, and great job flexibility. Finally, there is a true emphasis on mentoring and professional development.

The entrepreneurial spirit with which we tackle projects -- thoughtfulness, creativity, ambition. We never start off trying to solve a problem assuming we know the answer. And, we seek out creative means of solving problems with creative uses for data that others find daunting or unsolvable.

Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant

I think the firm is growing in size and reputation. We have worked with excellent clients for years, and I think the reputation we have earned in the industry is growing.

Employee - Associate/Consultant

In your first year at Keystone, you will have exposure to top tier clients with compelling business problems, work alongside great people, and have a solid work/life balance. The quality of life at Keystone is an A. That's all you can ask for in this Industry.

Keystone has a perfect culture for me: young, fun and flat. People speak their mind and don't change themselves for work vs. personal life. The culture is very social - at least once a month the whole office has a "KNO" or "Keystone Night Out" which consists of drinks and an event (bowling, escape the room, go-karting, etc.). Drinks often happen weekly as well - people who work later will often grab dinner or drinks covered by the company. Every Friday lunch is catered, which brings the whole office together for good conversation. Friday afternoons we serve from the beer keg we have on tap, built into our kitchen counter (we also have cold-brew coffee on tap). The culture is very flat - partners are just as often involved in firm social activities as first-year associates. Overall, I'm so happy to work here.

Employee - Associate/Consultant

Keystone is well-known in the tech sector as the top firm for strategy and economic consulting - we are consistently hired by the world's leading tech firms to solve their most difficult and pressing business problems. Experience at the firm leads Keystone alums to great success in their careers. I've not heard of an Associate leaving Keystone without admittance to a top tier business or laws school, if they applied. Many also exit Keystone with exciting positions at leading tech companies (Google, Facebook, etc.). Overall, I feel extremely proud having Keystone on my resume - I know my experience at Keystone will make job and graduate school applications much easier.

Employee - Associate/Consultant

The projects are all extremely interesting. The companies we work for are on the leading edge of tech, and the problems we analyse are unique. There is no "cookie-cutter" approach to consulting missions so we are always learning something new. The company is small and intimate, which means that we can all have a lot of impact on the company its self. The atmosphere can be described as "a startup meets a consulting firm".

Employee - Associate/Consultant

Passionate about tech and the company. Busy and takes on many projects but still accessible and open to feedback.

Employee - Associate/Consultant

More base and less bonus compared to leading consulting companies.

Employee - Associate/Consultant

Scrappy and startup-like, everyone knows everyone else at the firm and it is very collaborative.

Employee - Associate/Consultant

Reputation among those who have heard of keystone is very high, not as widely known as larger firms.

Employee

the culture enables the team to be creative, comfortable, and work well together - it's a fairly flat org, humility is highly valued, and the team is really invested in making Keystone an even better company. I also love that processes are not set in place, and everyone is open to new innovative ideas. The people are also amazing, i'm really lucky to work with a great accounting team and the Boston office - everyone here cares about your success at the firm and beyond your time at keystone.

Employee

driven; dedicated; humble; intelligent; innovative invested in the employees; down to earth; willing to take on new unfamiliar challenges; constantly trying to better the company and its employees; kind and caring.

Employee

the people - it's a truly open door policy, with forgiveness and a supportive atmosphere the is welcoming and makes everyone feel good about themselves.
