Keystone is a boutique consulting firm with a focus on technology. We serve our clients both through economic and technical analyses to support legal discussions and through strategy analyses and recommendations. All of our projects are highly technology focused and involve many of the bleeding edge technologies that will shape the world in the years to come (e.g. cloud, internet of things, virtual reality). As such, Keystone recruits for and builds skills of a unique blend of business and technical understanding. Thus, the value of working at Keystone is the uniqueness of the firm in that you're able to get a consulting experience highly focused in tech.

Keystone leadership is highly hands-on in the problems that we solve for our clients. They take pride in the challenging problems that we take on as a firm, often without really know how to solve the problem at the beginning, but finding a way to do so. Keystone leadership should be more attentive to the growth of the firm itself. The firm lacks clarity in how Keystone will evolve into a great firm over time and leading by doing (not just goals, but outcomes) in how we will improve as a firm. We are too focused on delivery and not enough on our firm. That said, the company does care about fostering a great work environment and culture (e.g. social events, leadership interaction with associates)

There are 2 pay levels pre-MBA, which are Associate and Senior Associate. There are then pay levels beginning at Consultant for MBA graduates. However, Associates are occasionally promoted to Consultant or even Senior Consultant without an MBA for exceptional performance. In these cases, the compensation is lower than those who have MBAs (mostly reflected in base salary)

Very reasonable with scheduling (e.g. working from home for a morning to run an errand), and with business travel expenses (e.g. don't have to stay in the cheapest possible hotel in the area, can order nice meals ,etc.)

In general, I think it's not as well known as it could be. I don't think it is a name known to many outside of our clients. Keystone is investing heavily in marketing and social media that will help change this over the next few years.
