I transferred to a good team with good management - that was fine. But there are multiple pockets with people in charge who are incompetent, cruel, or both.

Some people were great, but there were some people who bullied and abused others. There was one manager who tormented and bullied everyone so severely he lost his position as a manager. However he was still permitted to work there, and he continued to bully and be horrible. There were many pockets in the company with incompetent folks like this who mistreated others and got away with it.
