Employee - Entry / Intern

I enjoyed my time at Lockheed Martin and learned as an engineer.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Unfortunately, they are not flexible with vacation.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

The culture was fluid and impersonal.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Suggest they shorten the rotations from 90 to 60 days for OCONUS positions.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

It's a large company and you can easily get pigeon holed into one segment which could adversely impact your professional growth. The small team environment was a great place for professional growth and satisfaction.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

At the working" level or within small teams, everything was very cohesive and a strong team could be built. This was often overcome by senior management by redirecting without full knowledge of the daily task management activities.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Provide a forum for managers to have better access to senior management for idea sharing and two way communication

Employee - Analyst / Associate

The company (at my facility) was very involved with the annual disabled Face of America and Veterans bicycle ride from the Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC to Gettysburg, PA. My group volunteered every year to assist these veterans by tending to their needs at one of the designated stops near Gettysburg, MD.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

For me and the position I held it was a great place to work. The pay was weekly. I was a contractor to a large federal government agency. The pay was excellent (weekly) and leave was accumulated at the industry standard. I traveled extensively (3-week intervals) to contractor sites on a regular basis. Our needs on the road were handled excellently by Lockheed (motels, rentals, per diem, etc.)

Employee - Analyst / Associate

My experience working with Lockheed Martin was excellent to outstanding. I was under contract with Lockheed as a Systems Engineer. I was a retired Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Technical Systems Specialist. I was hired by Lockheed as a Systems Specialist as a Systems Engineer with the FAA.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Lockheed Martin is a family that takes care of its own investing in people and their future.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

The company needs to continue its pursuit of a positive culture change, and is being forced to do that with the baby boomers retiring. Change is good.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Should add more mentoring and training of new hires and junior personnel. Give employees a challenging job.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Glass ceiling for women. Women may be in positions of authority, but they do not make the decisions.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Once you reach age, high grade, and a large salary, they get rid of you. The company said known for that.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

If able to change anything, I would eliminate the least productive employees and add more highly productive heads. So the majority of the work doesn't fall on the same great and exceptional employees and more work can be completed with the same quality in less time.

Employee - Director

Was a very command-and-control hierarchy. Not open to innovation.

Employee - Director

While I'd recommend people work there, they should go in with the understanding that there are serious challenges. Opportunities to learn from great minds abound, but there is a hierarchical and old fashioned culture. Office politics can get nasty.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

A military veteran is highly seeked after, they are needed to get close to customer base.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Would suggest a change in the executive leadership behavior.
