Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant

Loved working there, good at every level.

Employee - Director

Even though the situation and my immediate superiors were not the best for me, it is an excellent organization overall.

Employee - Director

Yes, but only if the specific job is contract related. For many contract positions the company offers excellent benefits to include matching 401K and health benefits.

Employee - Director

It did start out to be a great place to work, but as the industry declined, management was slow to react and following some major contract losses the company began to regularly downsize this impacted the culture of the company as many long term and respected executives left or were let go.

Employee - Director

This company depends on US Government contracts for revenue and stability.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

It was a great place to work, pay was the big issue.

Employee - Director

Stuffy, coercive, quick to layoff, no loyalty, narrow vision, limited strategy, metric chaser, tonedeaf to employees.

Employee - Director

Bring value, don't expect loyalty, exchange time for money, short staffed-expect to do much work that others should do.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

The VP, at the time was not trustworthy, did not communicate openly nor honestly with his team, and he signed his team to a contract with a competitor without informing them beforehand. Their level of animiosity and distrust towards the competition they would now be asked to partner with was a disaster, because management on the west coast were just as angry at the VP and encouraged their rebellion and their lack of cooperation. It was highly toxic and extremely unprofessional, as well as unethical!

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

They are completely unethical and their work ethic is terrible. I refused to hear any negative comments from the team towards our new partners on the contact. Their hateful rhetoric was based on their prior experience of frequently losing big contracts to the competition. I urged them to focus on working and partnering together as a team with one vision. I wanted cooperation and open communication among the two teams. But I didn't receive that. Instead they were angry at me and the managers on the West coast encouraged their negative attitude and their lack of cooperation. In fact, one of the final deliverables was sabotaged. It was not the final cut I approved for the client, and it came from the west coast team.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Company culture and corporate governance.

Employee - Director

Poor management

Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant

Pay rates are not as high as other gov't contractors. No compressed work schedule offered. Telecommuting is rare.

Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant

More work volume than can ever be accomplished. Outdated systems and processes.

Employee - Director

The corporate culture had different (sometime counter) agenda than the line organizations. The line organizations had to take on roles typically supported by the corporate organizations, this was specially true with regards to business development and contracting.

Employee - Director

Good company, but with any large company, the culture was mostly determined within the line organizations. Some were great, while others were lacking. Typical for most defense contractors.

Employee - Director

Workers at this company are hard working and dedicated to their clients. Met some exceptional professionals at ManTech who helped by growing my job knowledge and enriched my career.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Won a government contract, hired incumbent company's contract management team to run contract without giving newly-hired team the time/training they needed to learn ManTech's operations, policies or culture. Corporate side was good and did the right things, except for too little oversight of the contract managers.

Employee - Director

Inconsistent senior management, lacking direction, and a general disdain for customer facing employees.

Employee - Director

If you are on a specific team & program you are fine. But end of contract or overhead positions are generally in limbo. I can't say that it really had a culture. More of a bunch of disparate groups that didn't communicate.
