Employee - Associate/Consultant
McKinsey was a tremendous introduction to business -- as valuable as an MBA.
Employee - Associate/Consultant
About half of the entering class seemed keen on advancing in the firm, but the other half already had its foot out the door--either to work directly for a client, or else to take the excellent experience and parlay that into a line role in a large company. I appreciated the firm's focus on having as great an impact as possible on its clients, and on intellectual integrity. I didn't appreciate the cultural conformity at my office (Houston); others around the world are far more interesting places to work.

The culture is very segregated with managers and above mixing only with their level and above. They talk to lower level employees when required for business.
