Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Great learning experience for young fresh out of school associates. Very team minded environment but very challenging. Give a lot of responsibility early in career but that allows room to prove yourself and grow your career quickly.
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Very team minded, political but not at the lower levels of the company.
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Very fast paced, work a lot of hours, but you'll learn a ton while doing it.
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Newell acquired the company I worked for and the "change" agent they brought in was arrogant. I assume he represented the mentality of management since he was so well thought of in Newell
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Very top down with little input from others
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
It's been a long time since I was there and maybe it has changed but then it was every man for himself
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Was a place where brand thats matters, where the culture always was an open one to the employee, recognizing the importance of the personal time or family time with professional time. Newell as a company, the leadership are very capable and prepared, with the teaching advocate, always willing to teach new things or how the things works. While I worked with the company, our team felts like a family.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
I feel very proud to have Newell in my resume, because all that I know, I learned at Newell. Strategies, distribution, trade marketing initiatives, sales reports, selling skills.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Good old boy club.
Employee - Director
Great brands, very good benefits.
Employee - Director
Much more process driven and less autonomy at division level. Corporate executives control marketing budget, innovation than at divisional level.
Employee - Director
All of the executives are from Unilever so many of the processes and thinking come from that organization.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Poor leadership, unfair pay and no work/life balance.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
The culture is a complete mess. The company is constantly changing and the culture has increasingly become worse. It was good when I started. Each business had it's own identity. We did fun things like holiday parties, trick or treating in the building, cooking classes. This is all gone. We no longer have a gym or daycare. Last year there was a holiday party but only for the C-suite and the people who work in Hoboken, NJ. All other locations were left out.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
The company is large and I did get some great experience.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Too many politics. They do not value their people.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Depends on the location
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
You'll learn a lot working here.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Too many changes both in roles and reporting structure was changing at a pace of every 9 months
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Ever changing work culture.
