As a Penn State alumni, I was proud to work for the University. The job itself was not particularly stimulating, and there was a lot of politics at the time I worked there, but nonetheless, I was proud to work there.

They lure newly graduated graduate students to the university with higher paying visiting assistant professor positions. Then, after a few years of getting the new professors situated, they offer contract renewals with significantly lower salaries.
