Horrible support of staff. And, the pay structure is not great. They give you a low base salary and you should be able to make it up by working longer hours, but the poor planning by Senior Directors does not allow you to work those hours.

Poor project planning and they do not support the staff. All they preach is a lie, not sure how they continue to be rating as one of the top consulting firms to work for. Perhaps it is the Seattle market or the Senior Director I worked for. But it leaves a sour taste in my mind. I would never recommend Point B to anyone.

Poor base salary, then hourly after 30 hours. But with poor project planning, they restrict the hours you are allowed to work.

They appear to have a good reputation. Problem, they only focus on existing clients. No business development, which is odd for a consulting company.

It depends...if a person desired the Consulting model, then yes, Point B might be an option. In my opinion, they are exactly like all Consulting firms describe themselves: employee centric, strategic focus, and big name clients. But I don't care for a model with "multiple masters" of both the Consulting firm and the Client. Of you are to do a good job for both, you work too many hours, not giving concentrated effort to either.

The culture is more of what they want to be than what they are. They really are a glorified contracting company. They do have some good relationships with some good clients. But I felt like they were a lot of talk with no action. Since everyone is an independent, very few take on a task to its completion.
