Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Hires smart people, and learning curve for its employee is well ahead of any competitors in the industry giving employees great exit opportunitiy.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

There are a lot of smart people that work at the company but they need to determine a more productive way to harness the intellect and create a more collaborative, authentic environment.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Needs to change the highly political nature of the culture. It needs to return to the collaborative work style and shared success that the company was founded upon.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Most of the company has been making money from licensing. Everything else is using cash to acquire new companies. Locked into founders licensing model. Dispised by its customers and countries, they struggle to keep shareholder value.

Employee - Director

Qualcomm was the most political company I have ever worked for.

Employee - Director

Executive leadership was none existent in my area.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

Culture Positives: Smart colleagues, collaborative, a good amount of autonomy, flexibility to switch teams after working for at least one year in the team. Negatives: Bureaucratic, promotions are hard

Employee - Analyst / Associate

It's a big company. So, it's hard to be handed opportunities. You need to go look out for them. Some organizations are better managed than others and that impacts your workplace satisfaction

Employee - Analyst / Associate

The company should be more transparent regarding its decisions. Compensation can be improved. More risk and innovation need to be incorporated in the culture

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Collaborative and fun culture!

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

A great organization!

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Company is more focused on engineers to run the business . This can change to incorporate more folks with businesses and MBA experience to run various divisions

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

It has a very open and collaborative culture .

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Qualcomm is a very strong technical company.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Would add a focused rotational programs for technical Path's and MBAs.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Has an innovative culture.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

There is a lack of collaboration and information sharing across the company. Communication and collaboration across teams could be improved. Leadership should set a vision that can be understood and internalized by the organization. A focus on giving leaders the skills they need to be successful should be adopted and poor performance should be addressed more aggressively.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Would recommend eliminating politics that play within the company.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Very competitive atmosphere

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Be prepared to be challenged here.
