In general most consultancy companies ends up selling manhours and not value to the clients. Once going down that track it is a spiral that then lets one also tend to the lowest paid employees that you can sell at a specific rate. It also means you find reasons to sell something to a client. All consultancy should be based on deliverables, but most suppliers and clients are not ready for this model.
