Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Pay is competitive especially when you consider the perks (free cable, VOIP, Internet). The Division President can make or break the Division culture. I had the opportunity to work under 2 different Division Presidents. One was a great leader and the other not so much.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
I worked under the tenure of 2 different Division Presidents. The President that I liked working for was collaborative, respected every area and level of the organization and made himself available to anyone.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
The industry is changing at a breakneck speed. There are so many viable substitutes out there for cable (Hulu, Netflicks, Amazon Prime, etc) and there are many new content providers that are up and coming threats to cable.
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
The company has some great people. Only a few made it bad to work there.
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
It could have been a great place to work if the executive management supported diversity and reprimanded management that made it difficult to add value to the organization.
Employee - Director
House of cards. Big talk, but doesn't walk the talk.
Employee - Director
Talk was that workplace is an integrated, collegial organization. Upper executives did not demonstrate a cohesive cultural environment.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
No longer a local downhome feel. Now its very far removed, generic and standardized.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Job insecurity and poor leadership
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
Interesting work that can be challenging to accomplish due to politicized atmosphere.
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
Individual comes before company.
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
Political environment where ability to properly maneuver has become of greater importance than accomplishments truly benefiting company/organization.
Employee - Director
Creative potential recognized and hightened.
Employee - Director
Collaborative work environment, play to win.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Annual layoffs right before the holiday season that affect all levels.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Longer hours but great vacation time and Summer Fridays.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
There are constant changes in company ownership throughout the years (mergers, buying other companies, selling off parts of the company).
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Make sure the company has new strategy for future.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Disorganized, no strong leadership, but commanding order.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
There is too much hierarchy.
