Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
It was a solid place to work. Good pay. Great hours. Nice People. Not much more you could ask from a job.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
I enjoyed my time there. I should have remained there for the long-haul, but chose otherwise. Culture was fun, but definitely more corporate than what I came from. Missed actually making things in my day-to-day, so went back to agency side.

Turner is a great name in the entertainment industry. Working there is great for your resume. It also is one of the few entertainment business in Atlanta, so if you want to get into the field, working in Turner should open other doors

It depends of the area you work on. The company is separated in divisions and the culture among divisions is very different. In general it's very casual, they welcome millennials and young people with new ideas. The older fox are "invited" to take an early retirement or they are just let go. So the environment keeps very young. The company as organization promotes equality and openness, but the employees not always follow. In my experience, most of the times they discriminate. So, if you are competing for a position and belong to a minority your changes are lower.

Good place to learn, and a great name for your resume. The payment is lower than market. It's the best option if you want to work in entertainment. Be ready to stay in your position for ever. The promotions are ver few and hard to get. You first do the job, and demonstrate that you are successful at it, bring revenue to the company and then you can discuss a promotion. Average salary increase in a promotion 2%-3%. If you are over 40, lay offs are around the corner. The company is making an effort to evolve into a digital enterprise due to the curt cotters (people who eliminates cable TV). This is a business that is decreasing (pay TV), so the company is adapting, evolving to a digital business. Which means younger workforce, and lay offs for those not millennials.

It was a fun entrepreneurial place to work with solid benefits and fun work
Employee - Principal / Managing Director / General Manager
Diversified company with extensive professional opportunities.
Employee - Principal / Managing Director / General Manager
Committed group of employees with a shared common cause.
Employee - Principal / Managing Director / General Manager
Groundbreaking and innovative company
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
Turner is "challenger" brand that promotes collaboration and winning. It is a great place for young executives to refine skills and expand leadership experience. Unfortunately more recently Turner has conceded it's leadership as a company focused on diversity and inclusion however.
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
Very old school. Long tenured leadership. Difficult for newcomers and diverse executives to succeed or get promoted.
