The company is extremely disorganized and senior leadership is too focused on changing the core of WU to make it what they came in from (the majority of senior leadership is from another Education organization) and instead of taking WU and building on it, they have gone through rounds of transformation to make it something different.

The cultural is very clicky, most of the employees are recycled from other organizations and form their own groups within Walden. Human resources is not easily accessible and as many employees work remotely, its not a very supportive culture.

They will use you, abuse you and then toss you to the curb once you stop performing. They are not interested in your ideas, thoughts or developing your skills. They are only interested in your skill set if it matches or can be malleable to their frequently changing initiatives. They are not willing to spend the time or money developing employee skills. They are also not forward thinking, and only strive to mimic other successful companies instead of working to build on their existing talent, relationships and initiatives.
