Excellent access to senior leadership. Opportunity to lead and work in a team environment. Excellent employee interest groups. Beautiful facilities.
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Culture is collaborative, friendly, a bit slow and caring.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
In my career, Wyndham Worldwide is the most disappointing place I've ever worked. So unbelievably far behind in technology, in strategy. Leadership has no foresight, has no vision of the future. Wyndham will perpetually lag behind. It's the reason I left; so much blood and sweat for zero results. Absolutely no commitment to bolstering the programs that will do the most good in our digital landscape.

Amazing culture. They overpay. But there's a reason - it fools people into thinking their business model is solid. It's a tradeoff - you have to ask yourself if you're willing to enjoy the culture at the expense of fulfilling work. Of actually being given the tools to succeed in your job. What good is a free gym membership, if you are always in danger of being laid off?
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
Extremely political environment because they are not concerned with truly understanding what is going on in their business with competition or the competitors so they rely on speculative decisions by upper most senior management. Furthermore, there is no intellectual integrity and those who have alternate opinions are viewed as threats because advancement comes from relationships with senior executives rather than individual performance
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
Follower culture who change allegiance depending upon who's in charge. Because strategic decisions are constantly changing or never resolved employees don't have a clear business rationale to follow so they rely instead on following personalities
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
Easy place to work if you aren't talented because you can collect a nice paycheck for adding very little value. If you keep your head down you can do this for an extended period of time. But once you leave the experience you have won't qualify you for much of anything because it is not a respected company by other travel companies or companies in other industries
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Management pushed too much, did not listen, expected too many hours even beyond 60 I put in, still said I did not complete enough.
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Required too many hours, horrible managements, late night work all the time, management was not the best.
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Beware management sucks, hours are demanding and rewards are just not worth it.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
The Leadership at Wyndham puts on a good show, but they have no integrity whatsoever, and no true concern for the staff.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
On one hand, it's a fun place to work. As a hospitality company, Wyndham KNOWS how to party. They do a good job of recognizing the efforts of staff level employees. But once you get into management you see how thin the veil is between the "public" face of Wyndham and the reality. Politics are rampant, backbiting and undermining behaviors are the norm. It's not unusual for C level execs to trash and force out others' staff for minor "offenses". No one is safe, you must always be careful of who's toes you step on.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Wyndham can be a fun place to work. There are lots of good things about working there; find the things that work for you and make the most of them.
