About Presenter:

Michael Baer's research focuses on the areas of trust, fairness, ethics, and impression management. In his work, he explores alternative perspectives on trust in the workplace, including some drawbacks of both trusting others and being trusted. His research has appeared in several top management journals as well as media outlets such as Harvard Business Review, Financial Times, PBS, NPR, Business Insider, etc. 

Clinical Associate Professor Kate Eaton examines product and service design and transformative services in her research. Kate has been a faculty member in the marketing department at W. P. Carey since 2014, where she serves as the Online Unit Lead as well the Teaching Lead. In these roles she has worked to innovate in the on-ground classroom experience as well, developing a flipped classroom, new assessment techniques, and conceptual framework teaching strategies to maximize student learning. Kate is also the faculty director for the Professional MBA programs.

Matt Sopha is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems. His teaching has focused on IT, Data Analytics, and Emerging Technologies. As the nature of education and work has been rapidly transforming, he has focused on advancing the partnership between ASU and Slack to drive collaboration and innovation in teaching. Recently, he has stepped into the role of Associate Faculty Director for Professional MBA Programs. In his spare time, he is an avid runner and triathlete.
