Liz founded PrōKo Consulting in April 2009 based on workplace trends and her own consulting experiences, particularly the challenges of being an independent consultant working with Fortune 500 clients. The idea of PrōKo’s unique business model was planted when Liz helped a client to implement a vendor compliance system and process with a contingent workforce management company. (“Parachuted behind enemy lines” is how Liz tells the story.)

Over the last 20 years Liz has worked as an external consultant with a global “big four” consulting firm, as a member of a boutique consulting firm, as an internal consultant, and as an independent consultant. She has personally consulted with nearly all aspects of a business including marketing, IT, procurement, sales operations, HR, finance and accounting.

Prior to launching PrōKo, Liz was an independent consultant for nearly fifteen years working on a variety of projects for Fortune 500 companies such as Clorox, Franklin Templeton Investments, NetApp, Invisalign and Medtronic. Before that she was with Levi Strauss & Co, Intuit Software and PwC Consulting specializing in organizational development and leading large-scale change programs. She has a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.

Born and raised in Southern California, Liz now lives in San Francisco. When not working, she enjoys golfing, skiing, flying, travelling and riding her red Ducati motorcycle.

Henry brings over 35 years of legal expertise to PrōKo Consulting, with particularly deep experience in labor and employment law. As General Counsel he ensures that PrōKo’s contracting process is watertight, thereby mitigating co-employment risk for PrōKo’s clients and allowing PrōKo’s consultants to remain independent.

Before joining PrōKo Henry was Labor Relations Counsel at Kindred Healthcare for seven years. Prior to that he had his own law practice, was Of Counsel at Keck, Mahin & Cate in San Francisco, and a Partner at McLaughlin & Irvin. He is an alumnus of Brown University and Harvard Law School.

After growing up in Maine, Henry now splits his time between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe. For him, practicing law is a means to an end – he’d much rather be playing golf, watching golf or reading about golf. Occasionally he finds time for flying and skiing too.
